建中樂旗隊成立於1983年，至今已邁入第三十五個年頭。近十年來，由於升學制度與大環境改變造成隊員人數銳減，但樂旗隊依然堅持追求高水準的表演，也努力實踐建中人狂狷浪漫的精神。
建中樂旗隊是臺灣少見同時注重室外行進樂隊與室內管樂合奏的樂團。除了國內多項比賽與表演外，教練團二十年多年來也堅持每年暑假出國比賽，一方面希望讓建中人體會為國爭光的責任與榮耀，一方面希望能持續拓展樂旗隊的視野，精益求精。這些年來足跡踏遍日本、韓國、加拿大、美國、馬來西亞、澳洲、英國、義大利、德國，2017年更是首度入選在荷蘭柯爾克拉德舉辦的世界音樂大賽，在行進樂隊比賽獲得89.5分的金牌獎。
建中樂旗隊也榮獲由美國蘇沙基金會所頒發之「蘇德勒盾章」（Sudler Shield Award），表彰其多年來的卓越成就。

Founded in 1983, ChienKuo High School Marching Band has enriched the lives of more than 2500 band alumni by nurturing their performing talents, providing a stage to showcase their musicianship, and instilling a sense of discipline, responsibility, confidence, and pride that would prove to be important lessons for life. The band has also enchanted audiences around the world with wonderful performances that brought home eight top-three placements in the World Championship for Marching Showbands and two champions in the Showbands Live! competition of the Calgary Stampede. It has also garnered more than twenty champions in the concert band and marching band contests in Taiwan's National Scholastic Music Contest. ChienKuo High School Marching Band is a proud recipient of the 2016 Sudler Shield Award, presented by the John Philip Sousa Foundation.

北京明遠教育書院實驗小學鼓舞天下打擊樂社團成立於2010年，現為朝陽區朝花藝術團。成立至今始終貫徹著“嚴謹，堅持，合作”的團訓，積極配合學校辦學主旨，讓學生能從社團中獲得更好的精神面貌及優秀素養。曾獲得國家及市區級諸多獎項。2017年樂團代表中國打擊樂學會出訪日本與日本打擊樂學會交流，不僅接受了頂級大師的現場指導，更是同日本冠軍行進樂團共同排練演奏，並在東京新浦安音樂廳舉辦了專場音樂會。在全國青少年打擊樂大賽中多次奪得金獎第一名。樂團勵志：成就孩子們成為人生的冠軍！在刻苦的訓練中，講師本著師者傳道、授業、解惑的宗旨。努力鍛造孩子們成為：家庭的驕傲、社會的精英、國家的棟樑。行進打擊樂，一直在行進。

Beijing mingyuan education academy experimental primary school was founded in 2010 to encourage the world percussion club, now chaoyang district chaoyang chaohua art group. （2）a. There are divisions about the Age of band members:
Elementary school Group: the age of band members is 7 above to 12.
Junior high school Group : the age of band members is 12 above to 15
Senior high school Group : the age of band members is 15 above to18
College Group: the age of band members is 18 above to 22
Community Group: the age of band members is above 22
b. Bands from outside Taiwan are welcome to participate without being scored. There is no limit of the number of the bands. The performance time for a band (including entry) is 12 mins.

Please submit an application form for entry to Taiwan Marching Band Association. The Application shall be accepted by arrival order of the application form. Time for receiving the Application Form shall be before Tuesday, 28th February 2017.
Do not accept the registration of infants.

If the application has to be modified or cancelled, please inform the holster by e-mail (taiwanmba.tmba@gmail.com) before 10th March 2017. The registry fees will not be returned if the application was cancelled after 11th March 2017.

Registry fee: NT $ 500 per participant (excluding instructor).
